Jamie Elmer is a writer and editor from California
Jamie (she/her) has been writing and editing for more than 10 years, honing her eye for errors and love of words. She uses her editorial skills to create content that will help and educate others, while keeping in mind strategies to drive traffic.
For the past 8 years, she’s focused much of her writing on what she’s most passionate about: mental health. She aims to break down stigma and explain complicated health information in plain, accessible language. She also enjoys writing about new topics and editing any and every medium she can get her hands on.
Jamie has experience as a writer, copy editor, and project manager. She has a BA in English from CSU Channel Islands and an Associates in Psychology. She lives with her partner and their dog, Chicken Nugget.
